Modern dentistry offers a wide range of services to ensure your teeth stay healthy, function well, and improve your smile.  It's critical to attend your biannual cleanings and check-ups so we can accurately monitor your oral health and take necessary preventive measures to maintain your oral health.

Preventative Dentistry: These services are meant to stop disease or infections before they start.  Regular dental exams and professional cleanings are the cornerstones of preventative treatment.  We can provide instructions on how to improve your at-home oral care and can recommend preventative treatments.  Coming at least every six months will aid in the prevention of tooth decay and periodontal disease.

Pediatric Dentistry: Pediatric dentistry is dedicated to oral health and care for children, from infancy through their teen years.  We treat children's teeth, gums, and mouth throughout the various stages of their development so that they can enjoy good oral health and establish good habits for a lifetime. We provide all phases of pediatric dental care in a fun and friendly environment.

Composite Restorations: Composite restorations are a common treatment that helps protect the teeth from dangerous bacteria,  The filling is a tooth-colored plastic and glass mixture that is placed in an easy, in-office procedure.  Restorations can restore decayed teeth and protect them from future infections, as well as improve their aesthetics and function.

Inlays and Onlays: Inlays and onlays are a type of dental restoration that covers various aspects of broken or decayed tooth structure.  Inlays and onlays are made of tooth-colored material created by a dental laboratory.

Crowns: Dental crowns are used on teeth that have suffered extensive decay, fractures, or have had root canals.  Dental crowns support the tooth and protect it from forces used during biting to restore form and function. They cover the entirety of the natural tooth, fit at the base of the gum line, and blend seamlessly with the natural teeth.

Root Canals: A root canal is performed on a tooth that is badly infected by decay, or trauma to the tooth. If decay and infection spread into the tooth pulp and root, then a root canal may be necessary.

Dentures: Dr. Dermack offers conventional and implant-supported dentures.  These can help replace missing teeth so that you can eat and speak without discomfort, as well as feeling confident when smiling.

Extractions: A dental extraction may be recommended when a tooth is deeply decayed, causing severe pain or in conjunction with orthodontic treatment.  If a tooth is unrestorable than extraction is necessary.  Pain management techniques and technology have made extractions with little or no discomfort.
